The La Crosse Tribune recently featured Poellinger Inc.'s renovation of the bell tower of Christ Eposcopal Church on the 9th & Main Streets in La Crosse, WI. Constructed in the late 1890's in a Romanesque Revival style, the church's load-bearing, limestone columns have eroded over time from exposure to ice and other elements. Working from scaffold over 70 feet high, Poellinger Inc.'s skilled craftsmen are replacing the columns with steel-reinforced synthetic stone that will remain stable and will match the rest of the building in appearance.
Poellinger Inc.'s work on the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is featured in the July 2009 issue of Constructions Dimensions magazine, published by the Association of Wall & Ceilings Industries International. Click here for the online version.
